On October 13, 2010 Air Products announced its plans for the construction of a pipeline connecting its existing Louisiana and Texas hydrogen pipeline systems and creating the world’s largest hydrogen pipeline supply network. The investment demonstrates Air Products’ hydrogen market leadership and provides us a unique opportunity to utilize our expertise in project execution and commercial and asset management to deliver value and continuous improvement to our Gulf Coast hydrogen customers. Air Products Gulf Coast Connection Project Wins Prestigious Energy Award The Platts Global Energy Awards, now in their 14th year, are known as "the Oscars" of the energy industry. This year, Air Products was honored to win the Premier Project Award for Construction for our industry leading Gulf Coast Connection Project, a more than 180-mile long hydrogen pipeline connecting our Texas and Louisiana (U.S.) franchises.
